What you will do

• Provide strategic oversight of the oncology research program in collaboration with the Executive Director and Principal Investigators.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical research strategies while coordinating trial activities across departments and research sites.
• Oversee research operations, staff, processes, SOPs, and policies to maintain compliance with USOR SOP and ICH GCP guidelines.
• Coordinate research budgets, financial reporting, accrual targets, and financial objectives across all locations.
• Lead, supervise, train, mentor, and support continuing education for research staff.
• Act as a liaison among corporate research operations, research committees, physicians, leadership, and practice research sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or scientific discipline desired; nursing preferred.
• At least 7 years of clinical research experience, preferably in oncology.
• At least 7 years of progressive supervisory and people leadership experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines, clinical trial documentation, medical terminology, and oncology-related clinical medicine.
• Experience with budgeting, contracting, site financials, and revenue cycle processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, multitasking, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in basic computer programs and Excel.
