Managing Director, Engineering Fellow (AI)

Salary: $375,000–$475,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus

What you will do

• Define and drive the long-term technology strategy and architectural blueprint across hirify.global product and business lines.
• Lead the integration of generative AI and machine learning into core products and client experiences.
• Oversee cloud-native platform migration, scalability, cost optimization, technical governance, and architectural risk management.
• Improve developer velocity through agentic engineering, infrastructure improvements, and developer tooling.
• Ensure zero-downtime operations, sub-second latency, disaster recovery, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor senior technical talent, align technology investments with business goals, and lead technical due diligence and integration of acquired platforms and ISV ecosystems.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software product development experience delivering enterprise-grade platforms at scale.
• 3–5+ years in executive-level leadership managing and coaching globally distributed engineering and architecture teams.
• Deep expertise across cloud infrastructure, distributed data stores, transactional APIs, financial security compliance, and AI/ML data frameworks.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
• Experience or knowledge in financial services is preferred.
