Software Verification Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Herzliya, Tel Aviv, Israel; on-site at least 4 days per week

What you will do

• Design and execute software verification activities for complex multidisciplinary medical systems focused on lung cancer diagnosis.
• Identify performance, accuracy, and quality gaps across software and algorithmic components.
• Develop risk-based test strategies and comprehensive test plans covering functionality, accuracy, and performance.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, MATLAB, and other tools.
• Improve test efficiency, coverage, and reliability through automation and new testing approaches.
• Collaborate with software, algorithm, hardware, quality, and regulatory engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Biomedical Engineering is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in software verification, algorithm validation, or system integration.
• Hands-on experience with multidisciplinary systems involving software, hardware, and algorithms.
• Basic programming skills in Python and MATLAB, hardware understanding, and strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in laboratory environments, including live/tissue animal and cadaver labs, and with fluoroscopy systems.
• Availability to work on-site in Herzliya at least 4 days per week.
