Location: Kansas City, Missouri, US; hybrid with an expectation to work in the office at least three days per week. Not eligible for full-time telework, relocation assistance, or visa sponsorship.
Salary: $52,000–$78,000 base annually

What you will do
- Support Facultative Underwriters with non-client-facing operational activities.
- Enter and manage submission risk-clearance data.
- Track policies and follow up with clients and colleagues for missing documentation.
- Maintain records, archives, storage plans, and operational processes for assigned business relationships.
- Support planning and reporting through data gathering and entry.
- Apply and maintain guidelines across facultative risks while identifying inconsistencies and process gaps.
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of the reinsurance industry, submissions handling, policy documentation, and general reinsurance workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with complex information across multiple systems.
- Sound judgment, logic, common sense, and strong ownership of end-to-end task completion.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies, resolve issues, and contribute to operational improvements.
- Strong communication, customer focus, service orientation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to work from the Kansas City office at least three days per week; no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is available.
