Project Implementation Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Darmstadt, Hessen, Germany; field-based across the DACH region with more than 75% of the work onsite at customer locations

Base compensation: €40,000–€55,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the Project Implementation Manager in implementing automated stock control systems in public and private hospitals.
• Plan automation schemes, configure systems, create databases, analyze data, and support end-to-end implementation activities.
• Coordinate site preparation, equipment delivery, technical setup, hardware reconfiguration, and software configuration.
• Support interface testing, user acceptance testing, go-live, and post-go-live activities, including floor-walking and issue collection.
• Train customer users and guide hospitals in configuring and assigning cabinets according to hirify.global best practices.
• Monitor project risks, issues, scope changes, and escalations while working with technical and clinical workflow teams.

Requirements

• Fluent, business-level German and English is essential.
• At least 4 years of established employment experience.
• Experience implementing software systems, process automation, or organizational change.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent computer skills with Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 or later.
• Ability to travel frequently across the DACH region and work occasional irregular hours to support customer projects.

Nice to have

• Background in hospital pharmacy, pharmacy automation, pharmacy software, nursing, medication management, supply chain, stock control, or procurement.
• Experience with hospital information systems, EPR, EPMA, ERP, inventory control, or German HIS vendor solutions.
• Knowledge of databases, networks, computer hardware, server access, backups, antivirus, and cybersecurity topics.
