Social Media Specialist

Location: Remote in the United States, based in Chicago

What you will do

• Manage and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Create evergreen social media content end-to-end, including copywriting and simple creative assets.
• Maintain content libraries and optimize publishing workflows across platforms.
• Monitor trends, test new formats, and adapt trending mechanics to the brand and audience.
• Analyze reach, engagement, shares, and follower growth, preparing weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Collaborate with Creative, UGC, social media, partner, and internal stakeholder teams, including on IP approvals and presentation materials.

Requirements

• More than 2 years of hands-on experience managing brand social media channels, especially Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Experience creating social content and campaigns that drive community interaction and audience growth.
• Practical experience creating simple visual assets in Canva, Photoshop, or Figma.
• Understanding of social media management tools, publishing platforms, and structured content workflows.
• Analytical, organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and publishing schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal English; native-level proficiency is a strong advantage.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with pop culture, gaming, entertainment, or online fandom communities.
• Basic understanding of paid social boosting on Instagram and TikTok.
