Manufacturing (GMP) Chemist / Operative (cGMP)

Location: Bristol, UK; onsite work in cleanrooms and chemistry laboratories with defined shifts that may start early or finish late.

Salary: £25,800–£41,340.

What you will do

• Perform and record manufacturing operations in cleanrooms and chemistry laboratories.
• Manufacture assigned ancillary materials according to batch documentation, defined processes, and production timelines.
• Record process deviations and escalate them promptly to the team.
• Contribute to process reviews and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation.
• Review and update procedures as part of the quality management system.
• Coordinate workload, priorities, progress, materials handling, and safe storage with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• BSc degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant industry experience in chemistry or a closely related discipline.
• Knowledge of practical organic chemistry.
• Knowledge of and adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
• High personal productivity, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working under cGMP principles.
