Senior Java Fullstack Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Java Fullstack Engineer: Designing and implementing versatile customer projects in web and enterprise environments using modern, agile methods with an accent on translating business requirements into high-quality software and supporting the entire software lifecycle. Focus on collaborative coding with pair- and mob-programming, automating quality checks with TDD, and continuously updating knowledge of latest technologies.

Location: Hybrid, requires regular office attendance in Schlieren or Bern, Switzerland. Expect to visit customers around 2-3 times per week.

• Design and implement versatile customer projects using modern, agile methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (FH, Uni, ETH or similar) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• More than two years proven experience as a Java Developer with strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Expertise as a Java Fullstack Engineer with JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, React or similar.
• Experience with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, databases, RESTful APIs, messaging, container orchestration, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience in agile methodologies and working within agile development teams.
• Excellent communicator, team player, problem solver, and fluent in German and English (at least C1 level).
