Senior IT Analyst (Banking & Payments)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office in Warsaw, Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Łódź, Poland

Rate: Up to 120 PLN/h net + VAT on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to document strategies and align them with the target architecture.
• Elicit functional and non-functional requirements from architects, developers, testers, business, and legal stakeholders.
• Translate business strategies into actionable technical requirements for IT teams.
• Own requirements documentation, including use cases, traceability, and continuous quality improvement.
• Support developers and testers and verify solutions by reviewing test results.
• Provide stakeholders with actionable insights into the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT and/or business analysis.
• Excellent written and spoken English and experience working in international environments.
• Knowledge of the banking sector and payments domain.
• Experience with API development, data mapping, and process modeling.
• Practical knowledge of SQL, user-interface prototyping and design, architecture diagrams, Jira, and Confluence.
• Solid technical background for effective collaboration with developers.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of banking-sector regulatory requirements.
• Practical knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs.
• Understanding of single and multi-payment systems.
