Industrial Electrician (Industrial Refrigeration)

Location: Olathe, Kansas, USA; extensive nationwide travel required

Services cover engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, service, and aftermarket support for food and beverage, cold storage, pharmaceutical, industrial manufacturing, and mission-critical infrastructure customers.

What you will do

• Install conduit, wiring, disconnects, switches, circuit panels, transformers, and wire terminations.
• Install and test medium- and high-voltage automation and motor control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical layouts, functionality issues, PLC sensors, and control wiring during field installations.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and electrical testing equipment.
• Support general construction work, including insulation, welding, and painting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Proficiency with rigid conduit bending and installation up to 4 inches.
• Knowledge of three-phase motor systems, 480V AC motor control circuits, and the National Electrical Code.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide.
• Ability to operate industrial lifts and equipment and work in weather exposure, at heights, in confined spaces, and in heat, cold, dust, and noise.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and regular drug tests, background and driving-record checks, with no DUI in the past five years; ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.

Nice to have

• Journeyman license.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting PLCs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and field problem-solving skills.
