Overview

As DevOps/App Specialist­ Engineer, you will be responsible for daily operations, release deployment and troubleshooting of any issues appeared in or Sportsbook platform. The DevOps/App Specialist­ Engineer is a member of a team responsible for daily management, changes and fixtures of Sportsbook and Trading application system thus including the front-end, back-end and Data Base. The DevOps/App Specialist­ Engineer prime role is supporting the operational availability of these systems on a daily basis.

What you will do

• Investigate incidents/issues, draw conclusions, and propose solutions/mitigations.
• Interact with application and peer support teams for project implementation and support.
• Improve the performance and efficiency of the Sportsbook system.
• Take 24x7 on-call rotation and troubleshoot problem tickets.
• Support project activities, contribute to knowledge and experience sharing.

Requirements

• In depth knowledge with Linux system administration, Networking thus including setup and troubleshooting, manage services like DNS, DHCP, Web servers, InformixDB.
• Over 5 years’ experience as a System or Middleware Administrator working with UNIX/Linux in enterprise capacity.
• Experience with SQL and relational DB
• Very Good communication skills
• Excellent team worker and good performer under minimum supervision

Nice to have

• Experience with Nginx and/or Apache web servers in a production environment
• Linux/AWS environment skills
• Security – access, authentication, auditing, vulnerability assessment
• Assist in help desk calls
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent proactive planning skills and multi-tasking skills
