Audit Specialist - Risk and Control Enhancement (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Lead audit validation work focused on operational risk and control transformation.
• Plan, challenge, and deliver audit coverage in partnership with audit teams.
• Interpret regulatory expectations, risk themes, and industry practices to assess controls.
• Analyze risk and control information to identify issues, insights, and practical improvements.
• Prepare reporting for senior leaders on audit observations and control effectiveness.
• Advise on testing approaches, issue development, reporting quality, and emerging risks.

Requirements

• 10+ years of operational risk management experience, including risk and control self-assessment and third-party risk practices.
• Experience applying audit, risk, or control principles in financial services or another regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory expectations and their impact on audit coverage and control evaluation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant professional certification or advanced qualification in accounting, audit, information systems, risk, or business administration.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship is required.
