TL;DR

Data Governance & Security Architect (Snowflake, AWS) (Data Governance and Cloud Security): Building enterprise data-sharing architectures and governance frameworks with an accent on Snowflake security, AWS cloud services, privacy, metadata, and lineage. Focus on designing cross-region and cross-account sharing, multi-tenant architectures, data classification, compliance controls, and reusable architecture standards.

Location: Bangalore, India; in-person collaboration is prioritized

What you will do

Design enterprise-scale data-sharing reference architectures using Snowflake and AWS.
Balance data accessibility, governance, security, privacy, performance, and cost optimization.
Develop data governance and security frameworks covering classification, privacy, metadata, lineage, and compliance.
Design multi-tenant, cross-region, cross-account, and external data-sharing architectures.
Define architecture standards, policies, and reusable patterns.

Requirements

12+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud architecture, data engineering, or data governance.
Strong experience with Snowflake security, governance, and data-sharing capabilities.
Strong AWS experience with S3, Glue, Lake Formation, IAM, KMS, VPC, Data Exchange, and Redshift.
Expertise in data governance, security, privacy, metadata, lineage, classification, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of SQL, cloud data platforms, and modern data architecture patterns.

Nice to have

SnowPro or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
Experience with Data Mesh, data products, Terraform, DevSecOps, AI governance, Databricks, or Power BI.
