What you will do
- Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures.
- Read schematic drawings, wiring prints, work orders, specification sheets, and bills of material to determine assembly requirements.
- Connect, measure, cut, mark, and tag wiring and components according to specifications.
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective components to ensure product conformity.
- Package finished products for shipping and assist with loading when required.
- Maintain tools, housekeeping, quality standards, and workplace safety.
Requirements
- Experience using hand tools.
- Experience with assembly and wiring, or willingness to learn; no prior experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow written instructions and read a tape measure.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, reaching, and handling items weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude.
Nice to have
- Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical point-to-point prints.
