Audit Specialist, Credit Risk

Location: London, United Kingdom. Full-time, onsite role.

What you will do

• Assess key controls supporting credit risk management across traditional banking and Treasury & Markets activities.
• Audit counterparty credit stress testing, netting arrangements, credit limit monitoring, origination and underwriting, CECL calculations, SCCL, and RWA interpretations and calculations.
• Execute audit engagements end to end and produce high-quality documentation and assessments.
• Work with senior leaders, external regulators, Audit Services colleagues, and key stakeholders.
• Support audit strategy development, knowledge sharing, and internal training.
• Manipulate, transform, and reconcile data used in audit assessments.

Requirements

• Extensive expertise in credit risk management across first-, second-, or third-line functions within a global financial services firm or comparable regulatory supervisory role.
• Experience confirming compliance with global credit risk regulations, including Basel III, Basel III Endgame, large counterparty limits, US Regulation Q, or the EU Capital Requirements Regulation.
• Advanced degree in corporate finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics, or a relevant certification such as ACA, CPA, or FRM.
• Essential experience in data manipulation, transformation, and reconciliation.
• Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom at application and throughout employment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced global audit team across multiple time zones and jurisdictions.

Nice to have

• Experience in Treasury & Markets, counterparty credit risk, stress testing, or related risk management activities.
• Knowledge of auditing techniques in the financial services industry.
