Tax Analyst

Location: Camden, New Jersey, United States; onsite

Salary: $69,000–$94,800 per year

What you will do

• Prepare and file state sales and use tax returns, state income tax returns, and related tax payments on monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules.
• Prepare separate-company pro forma federal tax returns and supporting schedules.
• Maintain tax return workpapers to support income tax audits.
• Reconcile tax balance sheet accounts and support income tax provision calculations.
• Assist with tax notices, audits, compliance inquiries, special projects, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance, division finance teams, and external tax advisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting or finance.
• 0–3 years of relevant tax experience or equivalent business or industry experience.
• Basic understanding of federal and state taxation concepts through education, internship, or work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work proactively in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
