Claims Analyst III (EPL and D&O)

Location: New York, NY; primarily in the office

Salary: $68,000–$91,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Identify, investigate, and resolve EPL and D&O coverage issues.
• Communicate policy coverage issues clearly to insureds, brokers, underwriters, and risk managers.
• Coordinate with defense counsel, monitoring counsel, insureds, vendors, and other stakeholders on coverage, liability, and damages analysis.
• Analyze and budget litigation and determine the judgmental value of claims.
• Prepare management presentations and manage reserve adjustments and claim payments.
• Explore technology, structured settlements, and other cost-effective claim resolution strategies.

Requirements

• 1+ years of claims and/or litigation experience.
• Ability to analyze insurance policies and legal documents.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Ability to work primarily in the New York office.

Nice to have

• Financial experience.
• Juris Doctor degree.
