Senior Risk Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; primarily office-based

What you will do

• Maintain hirify.global Malaysia’s risk management framework in line with group ERM policies and local regulatory expectations.
• Identify, assess, monitor, manage, and report major risks across Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
• Facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments, control testing, operational risk event reviews, and risk assessments for outsourcing arrangements and major initiatives.
• Maintain risk reporting databases and support the rollout of new GRC systems and solutions.
• Prepare Key Risk Indicators and risk reports for senior management and board risk committees.
• Lead ERM training and support climate-related and broader sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk management, technology risk, or audit is preferred.
• Insurance or financial services industry experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Bank Negara Malaysia regulations for direct general insurers.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to a changing environment.
