What you will do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective and existing clients, handling inquiries, quotes, meeting scheduling, and communications across phone, email, mail, in-person, and virtual channels.
  • Support financial advisors and branch staff independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Onboard clients, open accounts, research client and security information, and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
  • Process and monitor asset transfers, cash awaiting investment, corporate actions, account alerts, and client documentation.
  • Prepare reports and spreadsheets for client meetings, input orders, and rebalance portfolios on behalf of financial advisors.
  • Support seminars and other client-facing marketing events while participating in training and professional development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years of securities industry or related work experience preferred; the listed general experience is 7–12 months.
  • Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) required unless an exemption or grandfathering applies.
  • Series 7 required; Series 63, 65, and/or 66 required as applicable by state.
  • Knowledge of investment concepts, financial markets, securities industry regulations, trading terminology, managed account platforms, and CRM software.
  • Strong communication, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, mathematical, and customer service skills, including the ability to manage changing deadlines.
