Quality Engineering Technician I - Electrode, Nights B-Shift (Lithium-Ion Batteries)

Location: Onsite in Sparks, Nevada, United States; Nights, B-Shift.

What you will do

• Conduct and implement quality control systems for lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes.
• Perform incoming-material quality control in the production warehouse.
• Inspect cell parts, active battery materials, and chemical materials for safety and performance.
• Analyze materials input/output data to reduce defects and improve battery performance.
• Support materials audits of cell manufacturing processes and maintain production quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with quality management tools such as control charts, FTA, FMEA, and Microsoft Office.
• Practical experience with materials analysis, testing, and chemical analysis equipment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management system auditing.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing, statistical process control, data analysis, and defect reduction is strongly preferred.
• Must have valid authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of quality technician experience.
• Associate’s or junior college degree in science or engineering.
