Trust Officer (Banking)

Location: Erie, Pennsylvania, United States; full-time on-site role working with on-site equipment.

What you will do

• Administer trust, guardianship, custodial, IRA, employee benefit, and estate accounts.
• Review account transactions, financial markets, portfolios, documentation, and customer agreements.
• Interpret legal documents and apply trust policies, procedures, tax requirements, regulations, and trust law.
• Coordinate client distributions, bill payments, investment reviews, and timely estate settlements.
• Build and retain customer portfolios, develop new business, cultivate referrals, and recommend investment and trust alternatives.
• Prepare client presentations, correspondence, RFP information, and new customer agreements while coordinating with Trust Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Customer service or sales experience.
• Ability to analyze financial data and evaluate problems, alternatives, and recommendations.
• Strong client relationship management, organizational, time-management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, computer applications, Internet and email, and department-specific trust account systems.
