TL;DR
BIM Designer (Construction BIM/CAD): Producing accurate, code-compliant 2D/3D models and component layouts from architectural and structural drawings with an accent on construction-document interpretation, client standards, and model quality. Focus on incorporating markups, following QA workflows, resolving technical issues, and delivering modeling tasks on schedule.
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; onsite, full time

What you will do
- Produce accurate BIM/CAD models, drawings, and component layouts from architectural and structural construction documents.
- Apply company and client standards to 2D and 3D modeling work.
- Incorporate feedback and markups into models and drawings without omissions.
- Follow established workflows, QA processes, checklists, and company procedures.
- Communicate with customers, supervisors, and team members to clarify requirements, resolve technical issues, and provide progress updates.
- Record daily progress using ESP, Smartsheet, and direct communication channels while completing required training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field such as Construction, Architecture, or Drafting.
- Entry-level and fresh candidates are welcome; more than one year of experience, especially in wood truss design, is an asset.
- English proficiency equivalent to B1 CEFR is required.
- Ability to understand and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Basic problem-solving and plan-review analysis skills, integrity, strong attention to detail, and strong cognitive skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Revit, Vertex BD, AutoCAD, or other 3D software.
- Experience in wood truss design.
