Senior Structural Engineer (Buildings)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts office

Compensation: $143,435.23–$163,925.98 annually

What you will do

• Prepare design calculations for buildings and other structures.
• Design new buildings, transit stations, retaining walls, and miscellaneous structures.
• Analyze existing structures and produce design-related reports.
• Develop structural drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and related software.
• Review shop drawings, construction submittals, and contract plans for compliance with established design criteria.
• Contribute to technical leadership or grow into a project management role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least 7 years of structural engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software packages.
• Strong structural analysis, steel and concrete design, time management, and teamwork skills.
