Senior Product Engineer (Electrical & Electronics)

What you will do

• Support product transfers into manufacturing and sustain products through NPI, production ramp-up, and ongoing operations.
• Develop embedded systems, electrical designs, schematics, and PCB layouts for current and new products.
• Manage component lifecycle activities, engineering changes, technical documentation, BOMs, work instructions, and validation plans.
• Coordinate PCBA fabrication and testing with suppliers, including ICT and FCT at development and production stages.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, design reviews, risk assessments, and operational readiness reviews.
• Drive process improvements, cost reduction, product quality, yield optimization, and operational excellence while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a Master’s degree, a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, circuit theory, analog and digital electronics, PCBA design, and PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Advanced knowledge of Altium Designer or similar PCB design tools, plus experience with EMC/EMI design and countermeasures.
• Experience with FMEA, 5 Whys, 8D, DOE, statistical analysis, BOM structuring, and engineering change management.
• Hands-on FPGA programming experience with VHDL or Verilog and the ability to lead technical discussions with manufacturing and service organizations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and travel occasionally to other sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with LabView, Python, Visual Basic, SAP, or PLM systems.
• Experience in FDA-regulated product development and life sciences or biotech industries.
• Exposure to high-performance computing for data-intensive applications.
