Field Service Engineer (Security Screening)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; primarily field-based with travel across Israel, including Ben Gurion Airport and other customer sites

What you will do

• Install, maintain, repair, and service explosive detection, conventional X-ray, and computed tomography security screening equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and system faults while performing scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Provide technical support and customer training, maintain service records, and prepare customer reports.
• Manage spare parts ordering, installation, returns, tools, test equipment, and calibration requirements.
• Support installation projects, upgrades, pilot programmes, and corrective actions for recurring technical issues.
• Build customer relationships, support service opportunities, and follow health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Practical Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering qualification, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in field service, maintenance, technical support, or repair.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems, including experience with hand tools, test equipment, and measurement devices.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Israel; occasional overtime and flexible hours outside Sunday–Thursday operating schedules may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience with X-ray, CT, imaging, or security screening equipment.
• Background in industrial, instrumentation, automation, medical devices, or airport technologies.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar service management systems.
• Experience in regulated operational environments.
