Operations Associate I

Location: Lansing, Michigan, United States; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Process standard client and producer transactions using documented procedures and multiple software applications.
• Review information and requirements to ensure transactions are in good order.
• Identify and escalate issues for resolution when necessary.
• Communicate with internal associates, external customers, and agents about outstanding requirements.
• Document transaction status and all received and initiated contacts.
• Meet departmental production, handling-time, and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–1 year of work experience.
• Ability to learn basic life insurance and annuity product information.
• Ability to follow detailed written procedures and communicate processing requirements professionally.
• Ability to use multiple software and mainframe applications and type at least 35 words per minute.
• Ability to work independently and in a team within a high-volume, image-based environment.
