Senior Middle Office Risk Analyst - Global Markets Group

Location: San Jose, CA, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $107,885–$133,268 per year, with potential annual bonus, incentives, and restricted stock.

What you will do

• Support middle-office responsibilities across Foreign Exchange, Trade Finance/Letters of Credit, and Interest Rate Derivatives.
• Validate transactions, maintain controls and governing documentation, perform reconciliations, and resolve exceptions with Sales and Trading and Operations.
• Audit files for new IRD transactions, investigate settlement discrepancies, research payments, review client valuation statements, reconcile dealer confirmations, and coordinate signatures.
• Perform quality control for Trade Finance fees and transactions, prepare monthly customer reports for the AML team, and support external audit confirmations.
• Administer systems of record, bank partner portals, the SWIFT gateway, CRM cases, application testing, FX trade files, settlement instructions, pricing, currency pairs, and multi-currency accounts.
• Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting covering Nostro investigations, credit and mark-to-market data, vendor invoices, regulatory reports, KRIs, risk updates, and spreadsheet controls.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Treasury, Middle Office, or a similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of banking operations, commercial banking products, regulatory obligations, and industry standards.
• Advanced spreadsheet experience with macros and advanced formulas; experience with Excel, Sheets, or Smartsheet.
• Advanced communication skills in speaking and writing.
• Familiarity with business intelligence, CRM, and database tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot, and SQL is preferred.

Nice to have

• Intermediate to advanced familiarity with AI tools and concepts including NLP, ML, LLMs, Agentic AI, generative AI, and neural networks.
• Applied experience with AI adoption or AI-driven transformation in markets, finance, investments, or banking.
