Staff Pharmacist (Specialty Pharmacy)

Annual salary: $98,000–$172,000 for a 40-hour-per-week schedule, prorated for part-time hours. Additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses may apply.

What you will do

• Visually verify prescriptions for clinical and legal accuracy, including quantities, directions, refills, labels, and packaging information.
• Support patient medication therapy and service coordination while ensuring appropriate treatment profiles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve legal, clinical, financial, and physical prescription-filling issues.
• Guide pharmacy technicians, delegate daily duties, and ensure pharmacy equipment, inventory, and standard operating procedures are properly managed.
• Track medication inventory, process recalls and expired medications, perform counts, and prepare inventory reports.
• Develop and implement business solutions, build stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• Current pharmacist license in good standing in the state of practice is required.
• Ability to obtain and renew applicable state pharmacist permits, registrations, licenses, and required training.
• Knowledge of prescription verification, medication therapy, pharmacy operations, and inventory controls.
• Ability to direct pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with procedures, regulations, and company standards.
