What you will do

  • Lead a regionally focused team within the Purchasing Service Centre and support the PSC Manager with transactional purchasing across multiple sites.
  • Coach, develop, and structure a diverse purchasing team while promoting Standard Work and an inclusive, high-performance culture.
  • Align suppliers with purchase order specifications and delivery terms.
  • Ensure materials and subcontract services support production, sales, and aftermarket operations across the assigned regions.
  • Manage purchasing costs, execute category strategies, and contribute to working capital improvements.
  • Manage daily priorities and operational issues, escalating to procurement leadership when appropriate.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience leading and building diverse teams, both directly and remotely.
  • Procurement or supply chain certification such as APICS, CPIM, or CIPS, a bachelor's degree, or demonstrable success in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and Lean problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and A3 methodologies.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, supply contracts, supplier management, and the purchase-to-pay cycle.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is required.
