Location: Fort Drum, NY; assignment at Soto Cano AB in Honduras for one year with required travel to Honduras
Salary: $59,922β$100,280 per year

What you will do
- Provide non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling, assessment, action planning, referrals, and follow-up for eligible service members and families.
- Deliver health and wellness presentations, training sessions, health fair activities, and installation briefings.
- Provide consultation to installation command and build working relationships with military Points of Contact and community resources.
- Respond to critical incidents, surge events, urgent requests, and special installation activities.
- Manage duty-to-warn and restricted-reporting situations according to Department of Defense protocols.
- Record counselor activity data, participate in supervision and quality improvement activities, and support pilot programs and related training.
Requirements
- Masterβs degree in a mental health-related field, behavioral health, or social work.
- Current unrestricted independent counseling licensure from a US state, District of Columbia, US territory, or commonwealth.
- At least one year of post-licensure clinical experience.
- US citizenship and fluent English are required.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suite, internet navigation, smartphones or tablets, applications, and video-conferencing platforms.
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor military installation environments, respond quickly to emergent situations, and meet applicable site-specific vaccination or access requirements.
