Location: Pediatric clinics and military medical facilities in Germany; candidates must be willing to travel to Germany for 12–18 months.

Salary: $59,922–$100,280 per year.

What you will do

• Provide short-term, solution-focused counseling to military parents, guardians, and children ages 0–5.
• Conduct assessments, walk-around counseling, anticipatory guidance, action planning, psychoeducation, referrals, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with pediatric physicians and staff to address the needs of children and families.
• Deliver training, health and wellness presentations, health fairs, and child-development activities.
• Maintain confidential activity documentation using web, smartphone, and electronic medical record systems.
• Respond to critical incidents, duty-to-warn and restricted-reporting situations, supervision requirements, and program initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health-related field.
• Independent behavioral health license from a U.S. state, District of Columbia, territory, or commonwealth, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• At least one year of post-licensure counseling experience and knowledge of infant mental health.
• Experience in early childhood education and/or medical settings, with advanced knowledge of brief therapy and solution-focused child and family counseling.
• U.S. citizenship and fluent English are required.
• CNACI, Installation Records Check, criminal history, and FBI fingerprint checks are required, along with eligibility for a Common Access Card.
