Test Baker (Baking)

What you will do

• Assist with new product development and existing product development projects.
• Conduct baking trials, prepare reports, and maintain test protocols.
• Maintain bakery equipment and identify equipment and operational needs.
• Provide technical support and bakery process advice aligned with the UK and Ireland commercial strategy.
• Participate in trade fairs and customer events.
• Support technical training for colleagues, partners, and customers on bakery processes, yeasts, sourdough, ingredients, and mixes.

Requirements

• Bakery college degree, university degree in food technology, or professional background in the baking industry.
• More than two years of baking experience and/or experience working on industrial lines.
• Customer-oriented approach, strong commitment, and confident communication.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, act proactively, respond quickly, and manage issues effectively.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; willingness to travel.
