Assistant Trader – Promotion Team (Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Products)

What you will do

• Support the marketing and delivery of foreign exchange and interest rate derivative solutions for corporate and financial institution clients.
• Prepare pricing and assist with the execution of FX Spot, Forward, FX Swap, Interest Rate Swap, and Cross Currency Swap transactions.
• Monitor financial markets, foreign exchange rates, interest rate movements, and macroeconomic developments; provide market updates and business insights.
• Coordinate transaction execution, client onboarding, and documentation, including MiFID and ISDA-related documentation where applicable.
• Work with Corporate Banking, Financial Institutions, cross-border branches, Operations, Risk Management, Compliance, and Legal teams.
• Prepare trading reports, business statistics, management information, performance analyses, and maintain accurate client activity databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in financial markets, sales, trading, treasury, corporate banking, or capital markets.
• Good understanding of FX and interest rate products, financial markets, and macroeconomics.
• Fluent English is required.
• Strong client-orientation, communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment while managing multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Mandarin language skills.
• Experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, or other market information systems.
• Knowledge of ISDA documentation.
• CFA or FRM qualification, or progress toward certification.
