Threat Researcher (AI)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Israel without visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Research emerging threats, CVEs, and misconfigurations to assess exploitability and customer impact.
• Investigate cloud services, frameworks, and commonly deployed technologies to identify new attack surfaces.
• Design, build, and test detection rules and scanning logic for exposed and vulnerable assets.
• Build automations to validate, benchmark, and monitor AI-driven detection capabilities at scale.
• Analyze large-scale scan results to identify and prioritize meaningful risks.
• Lead research projects from initial idea through production-ready detection and collaborate with Product and R&D teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security research, red-teaming, penetration testing, incident response, or vulnerability research.
• Strong understanding of network and application security, including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, web technologies, modern APIs, and application- and network-layer exploitation.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, or equivalent.
• Experience developing, customizing, using, or researching vulnerability scanners; writing detection rules; or building automated exploitability validation tools.
• Strong ownership, project leadership, writing, and presentation skills.
• Strong writing and presentation skills in English and Hebrew; legal right to work in Israel required, with no visa sponsorship available.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security research.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD security.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
• Familiarity with Burp Suite, nmap, Metasploit, Nuclei, or similar scanning tools.
• Published security research, exploits or PoCs, or contributions to open-source security tooling.
