is a technology-led, full-stack small business insurance provider expanding its software and SaaS platform capabilities across Europe through the ERGO Group.
What you will do
- Build and lead the GRC domain supporting the platform’s expansion into ERGO Europe.
- Translate DORA, GDPR, the EU AI Act, ERGO Group standards, and related regulatory expectations into practical controls and evidence processes.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Security, Privacy, Legal, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Audit stakeholders to embed governance and compliance into platform design and software delivery.
- Support SaaS readiness and platform replication across cybersecurity risk, operational resilience, data protection, AI governance, third-party dependencies, incident management, logging, monitoring, access controls, and auditability.
- Develop regulatory readiness roadmaps, control mappings, gap assessments, risk registers, remediation plans, and executive reporting.
- Design scalable assurance and evidence collection processes, interface with European and group-level stakeholders, and coach GRC team members.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in GRC, security and regulatory compliance, operational resilience, privacy governance, and evidence-based audit readiness.
- Proven managerial experience leading, coaching, and developing team members across complex GRC initiatives.
- Experience with AWS-native environments, cloud-based products, regulated financial services, and fintech.
- Strong understanding of DORA, GDPR, and the EU AI Act, with the ability to convert regulatory requirements into actionable technical and operational controls.
- Experience building programs from the ground up and working with engineering, product, security, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, legal, privacy, audit, and parent-company stakeholders.
- Strong communication, prioritization, execution, stakeholder management, AI, automation, and data-driven problem-solving skills.
