Pharmacy Tech Sam's Part Time

Hourly wage: $17.50–$25.50 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Process member purchases using cash registers and payment procedures.
• Enter prescription data and maintain patient and member records in pharmacy software and TaSCO.
• Fill prescriptions by counting, measuring, mixing, labeling, and scanning medications for accuracy.
• Process third-party insurance claims and resolve prescription fulfillment issues, including out-of-stock items, partial fills, and refill authorizations.
• Assist pharmacists and patients with prescription orders, pickup, purchases, and pharmacy services.
• Maintain pharmacy merchandise, documentation, displays, safety standards, and inventory presentation.

Requirements

• Meet all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, including applicable age, qualification, registration, certification, and licensing requirements.
• Obtain national Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB through PTCE or from NHA through ExCPT within 9 months of starting the job.
• Follow applicable local, state, and federal pharmacy laws, company policies, and HIPAA-related procedures.
• Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners while completing assigned priorities.
