Machine Learning Engineer (LLMs)

Location: United States — Remote

Salary: $180,000–$225,000 USD per year; full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications.

What you will do

• Fine-tune transformer-based and multimodal models using automation pipelines and implement real-time fine-tuning pipelines in production.
• Work with large datasets, perform data preprocessing, and engineer features to improve model performance.
• Build frameworks for iterating and evaluating model versions by ranking, accuracy, and latency.
• Collaborate with software engineers to deploy machine learning models at scale and integrate them with existing systems.
• Implement real-time monitoring, maintenance, and updates for production model performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software developers, business analysts, and other cross-functional partners while contributing to machine learning research and innovation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role focused on developing and deploying ML models in production environments.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and operating fine-tuning pipelines in production environments.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Proficiency with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
