Accounts Receivable (IEFP - Professional Internship)

What you will do

• Support the European Ship-To-Collect team with cash application, invoice disputes, and collections.
• Complete defined finance processes and procedures accurately and within deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external standards.
• Identify anomalies and resolve them using established rules and procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary.

Requirements

• Experience with Excel is mandatory.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English in a business environment.
• Strong attention to detail, customer orientation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn, work outside the comfort zone, and suggest improvements.
• Registration as unemployed with IEFP and eligibility for the applicable Portuguese employment support programme are required.

Nice to have

• Background in finance.
• German, French, Italian, or Spanish at B2 level.
