Finance Working Student (AI)

What you will do

• Support day-to-day finance operations in partnership with the Director of Finance & People.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and coordinate with external auditors.
• Help maintain accurate financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare monthly reports, maintain trackers, and perform operational controlling analyses and ad hoc data pulls.
• Pilot automation of manual finance workflows using AI tools, low-code platforms, and smart integrations.
• Build intelligent dashboards and KPI trackers while coordinating with tax, audit, legal, Growth, and Engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Available for approximately 20 hours per week for a preferred commitment of 6–12 months.
• Strong analytical skills and solid Excel proficiency, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Comfortable using AI tools daily and interested in automating workflows.
• Fluent German in written and spoken communication, plus strong English proficiency.
• Must be eligible to work in Germany without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with low-code platforms.
• Basic understanding of German accounting practices and curiosity about IFRS.
• Prior internship or working student experience in finance, consulting, or a high-growth startup.
