Windchill Interface Specialist (Windchill)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $115,000–$135,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate integrations connecting PTC Windchill with ERP, MES, CAD, and other engineering and manufacturing systems.
• Own the technical integration layer between Windchill and enterprise systems.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered integration solutions with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Apply enterprise integration patterns, middleware platforms, and PLM-to-ERP data flows.
• Contribute through code reviews, design reviews, documentation, and mentorship of junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PLM integration experience with a strong focus on Windchill.
• Hands-on experience with Info*Engine and the Windchill Java API.
• Experience designing PLM-to-ERP integrations with SAP or Oracle, plus working knowledge of CAD integration patterns.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI; strong SQL skills; and familiarity with the Windchill data model.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration.

Nice to have

• PTC Windchill certifications.
• Experience with ThingWorx or IIoT integration and API management platforms.
• Familiarity with event-driven and Kafka-based integration patterns.
• Experience operating Windchill in the cloud.
