Associate or Senior Associate (AI)

Location: Based in Brussels, Belgium, with participation in the Brussels office community

What you will do

• Support international executive search assignments from strategy through completion.
• Conduct market analysis, talent mapping, candidate identification and profile assessment.
• Engage with senior executives and clients by telephone and through personal communication.
• Prepare candidate profiles, market reports, status reports and client presentations.
• Coordinate assignments, stakeholders, deadlines and search information in internal systems.
• Use AI tools to improve research, analysis, reporting and search execution.

Requirements

• Background in executive search, recruitment, talent intelligence, leadership advisory, research, consulting or another relevant professional-services environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Confident, professional communication with senior executives and clients.
• Practical experience using AI tools for research, analysis or content development.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, maintain accuracy and take ownership of assignments.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Knowledge of technology, telecommunications or digital infrastructure.
• Experience across international markets or with CEO, board-level, retained executive search, market intelligence or leadership advisory assignments.
• Experience working with complex systems and databases.

Hiring process

• Initial recruiter conversation.
• Interview with the Senior Client Partner and an international team member, followed by a hirify.global assessment.
• Further Brussels office conversation and, where appropriate, a final office leadership discussion.
