Senior LOB Risk Specialist (Finance)

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH, United States

Base salary: $75,000–$125,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Execute the Line of Business Risk Management program and identify opportunities to improve its effectiveness.
• Evaluate and oversee third-party relationships through risk assessments, due diligence reviews, and ongoing monitoring.
• Review financial statements, audit reports, credit information, and other documentation to identify financial strength, stability, and risk exposures.
• Design and develop risk management program components aligned with business and regulatory expectations.
• Provide risk expertise to business teams and partners in Compliance, Credit, Legal, and Audit.
• Assess risk impact, recommend resolutions, and report or escalate issues and program compliance concerns.

Requirements

• University or college degree, preferably a bachelor’s degree, or a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience.
• 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
• Experience in risk management, third-party risk management, and due diligence processes.
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements, audit reports, credit information, profitability, liquidity, leverage, cash flow, and creditworthiness.
• Strong communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with risk management platforms such as KY3P, Archer, Aravo, or similar systems.
• Data analytics and reporting experience.
• Prior project management experience.
• Experience with change management, emerging risks, strategic planning, internal controls, or regulatory environments in financial services.
