Associate, Nexus, Client Delivery (Fund Accounting)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Compensation: CAD 60,000–CAD 88,000 per year

hirify.global provides fund administration, banking, payments, financing, foreign exchange, custody, consulting, and regulatory services to public and private investment funds as part of MUFG.

What you will do

• Prepare NAVs, book accruals, value investments, and perform cash and portfolio reconciliations.
• Calculate and allocate capital calls and distributions.
• Prepare management fee and waterfall schedules in accordance with fund documents.
• Process investor allocations and ensure capital transactions and P&L are recorded correctly for each NAV cycle.
• Prepare NAV packages, service-level deliverables, and ad hoc project outputs.
• Support audited financial statements, audit requests, regulatory services, and communication with internal teams and external clients.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance or Accounting, or a relevant accounting qualification.
• At least 2 years of progressive accounting, audit, or fund administration experience; hedge fund, private credit, or private equity experience is advantageous.
• Strong accounting knowledge, particularly in NAV, management fee and waterfall calculations, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel, and willingness to adopt new technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.

Nice to have

• Experience with Geneva accounting software.
• Qualified accountant or other relevant professional qualification.
