Staff Engineer (Credit Team) (Go/Python/C#/Cybersecurity): Designing and evolving cloud-based credit and licensing systems for the TrendAI™ Vision One cyber defense platform with an accent on large-scale refactoring, data security, and reliability. Focus on optimizing SQL performance, caching, and high-concurrency workflows, troubleshooting complex production incidents, and mentoring engineers through AI-native development practices.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based product licensing systems using Go, Python, and C#.
- Build and optimize secure systems capable of processing large volumes of data.
- Refactor legacy architecture and consolidate unnecessary modules to improve performance, maintainability, modularity, and scalability.
- Manage SQL databases and optimize queries, caching strategies, and processing pipelines for high-concurrency workflows.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex production incidents and reliability issues.
- Mentor engineers and promote AI coding assistants and agentic developer workflows.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading engineering initiatives as a tech lead or staff engineer.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, and C#.
- Strong knowledge of SQL database design and performance tuning.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated unit and integration testing, TDD, observability, APM, and distributed tracing.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
