What you will do
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of software systems using industry best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to deliver solutions to business problems.
- Build automation tooling for production monitoring and observability.
- Address customer-reported bugs and provide production support.
- Design scalable, resilient applications and promote effective application patterns and technologies.
- Mentor team members and contribute to engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar technical field.
- 8+ years of experience building critical software products.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language; Golang and Python are preferred.
- Strong understanding of highly distributed architectures, secured APIs such as REST and GraphQL, and cloud computing with AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar platforms.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Kibana.
- Experience with agile development teams and performance-tuning best practices, along with strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
