Full-Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: NYC-Metro, United States; hybrid

Base compensation: $150,000–$220,000 per year, plus annual bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Build enterprise-grade applications with React and Python on public cloud platforms.
• Design end-to-end AI solutions with founders and clients, translating workflows into production-ready products.
• Own the full stack, from architecting Python backend services to deploying systems on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Deploy applications in customer environments and maintain performance, security, and observability standards.
• Make autonomous technical decisions in an early-stage, 0-to-1 environment and contribute as a founding hire.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of software engineering experience with strong ownership of production systems.
• Expertise in Python, React, databases, security, data engineering, logging, observability, and cloud platforms.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and design products without fully defined mockups.
• Strong product intuition, user empathy, and customer focus.
• Willingness to work cross-functionally and directly with clients.

Nice to have

• Experience with fintech, enterprise SaaS, or regulated data systems.
• Experience building AI applications in production.
• Consulting or finance background.
• Experience leading major technical initiatives or mentoring engineers.
• STEM degree.
