TL;DR
ML/AI Senior Compiler Engineer (AI) (C++/LLVM/MLIR): Designing and implementing AI/ML compiler technologies and compiler features for ARM and RISC-V embedded processors with an accent on model lowering, graph compilation, and end-to-end performance optimization. Focus on building efficient intermediate representations, applying fusion, tiling, and scheduling optimizations, and analyzing generated code across advanced automotive SoC architectures.

What you will do

  • Design and implement AI/ML compiler technologies for optimizing models on embedded hardware.
  • Develop compiler features for ARM- and RISC-V-based CPU cores using C++ and LLVM technologies.
  • Design model lowering, optimization, and execution flows for novel embedded architectures.
  • Apply graph compiler optimizations including fusion, tiling, and scheduling for AI workloads.
  • Analyze generated code with simulators, profilers, and analysis tools to improve code-generation quality.
  • Collaborate with hardware architects, ML researchers, architecture teams, compiler-tool users, and a worldwide development team.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with significant exposure to machine learning, Edge AI, and embedded systems.
  • 10+ years of professional experience with compiler technologies, including LLVM/MLIR, LLVM IR, Clang, pass frameworks, optimization pipelines, code generation, and linkers.
  • Experience with ML frameworks and software stacks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, MLIR, XLA, TVM, or TensorRT.
  • Production-quality Python and C++ programming skills and the ability to solve complex compiler code-base problems accurately and efficiently.
  • Experience with embedded systems programming and compiler requirements for embedded systems.
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture, including caches, pipelines, and instruction set architectures; effective communication in a worldwide virtual work environment.
