Senior Director, Clinical Development (Oncology)

Location: Basking Ridge, New Jersey, United States. Domestic and international travel of up to 20% is required.

Salary: USD 280,350–467,250 per year.

What you will do

• Provide medical accountability and oversight for one or more Phase 1–3 oncology clinical trials.
• Lead clinical development plans, study design, protocol development, and key clinical documents.
• Conduct ongoing clinical data review, assess protocol deviations, and address medical queries from sites and institutional review boards.
• Oversee CRO medical monitor activities, external partnerships, and governance bodies such as Data Monitoring Committees and Steering Committees.
• Interpret and present clinical data to internal and external stakeholders and support regulatory and safety reporting.
• Contribute medical expertise to FDA, MHRA, EMA, and PMDA interactions, advisory boards, publications, and clinical communications.

Requirements

• MD required.
• Postgraduate training in a therapeutic area or related specialty required.
• At least 7 years of relevant clinical development experience required.
• Demonstrated experience managing Phase 1–3 clinical studies and making study-level decisions.
• Strong oncology therapeutic-area knowledge and medical and scientific leadership experience.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
