Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Data Products

Location: Holmdel, New Jersey, with a hybrid work schedule

Base salary: $135,000–$160,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Support deployment, configuration, and daily operations across multiple AWS accounts and Linux-based workloads.
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Kinesis, AWS PrivateLink, security groups, and related networking dependencies.
• Investigate infrastructure incidents, deployment failures, service interruptions, and connectivity issues, restoring services and preventing recurrence.
• Automate repeatable AWS deployment and operational processes using version-controlled configuration and practical runbooks.
• Support Snowflake connectivity and deployment processes, including private connectivity, endpoint configuration, and environment-specific access.
• Collaborate with application engineering, data engineering, security, and technical and non-technical stakeholders while documenting operational procedures and recovery steps.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or production infrastructure operations.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, including services, networking, permissions, logs, and command-line diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience with AWS S3, Glue, Kinesis, PrivateLink, security groups, and multi-account operations.
• Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, routing, private endpoints, security groups, TLS, and application-to-service connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting Snowflake connectivity and deployment processes across multiple environments.
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting, monitoring, logging, alerting, incident troubleshooting, and operational documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code practices.
