Sr Software Development Engineer (Cybersecurity)

hirify.global develops cybersecurity SaaS products focused on identity security, privilege protection, and reducing identity-related attack surfaces.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and operate scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for the NHI Governance domain.
• Own features end to end, from technical design and implementation through production rollout, observability, and operational health.
• Integrate backend services with frontend workflows and other platform teams when required.
• Lead or contribute to design discussions, technical trade-offs, requirements reviews, and work scoping.
• Maintain high engineering standards through code review, testing, secure development, and reliability troubleshooting.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and share cloud-native development practices.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in C#, Go, TypeScript, Java, or a similar modern language, with experience building APIs and microservices.
• Full-stack capability, including backend ownership and the ability to work with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks when needed.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code or comparable agentic AI coding tools, including critically reviewing generated output.
• Production experience with AWS, including compute, IAM, and managed data stores, with attention to reliability and cost.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation, data modeling, testing, and observability.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in identity security, IAM, non-human identities, secrets, AWS IAM, Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth, or OIDC.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, graph data modeling, analytics at scale, or multi-tenant services.
• Familiarity with Angular, React, or Vue with TypeScript.
